Shortly after getting swept by the Miami Heat in the first round, the Pacers were prompt in firing head coach Nate Mcmillan. This is likely not to be the only move for the Pacers this offseason.

With the change present in the culture with a new head coach, the Pacers may look to move on from Oladipo, who will be an expiring contract come the 2021 offseason.

The Pacers have yet. to find much success outside of the regular season with Oladipo, as they have yet to win a playoff game in the past 2 seasons.

Oladipo was originally traded with Domantas Sabonis for Paul George in 2017

Teams brought up have been the Lakers, Nets, Heat among others who have the combination of cap space and assets to trade for Oladipo.

This was first brought up by Eric Pincus of Bleacher Report

There is already talk of Victor leaving the Pacers in free agency, so it might become desirable to pull the trigger on a deal in which they can pick up an extra asset or young player.

Indiana might also shop Malcolm Brogdon or Domantas Sabonis if he team wants to head in a different direction.

However, the team to trade for Oladipo would never be considered a long term option, as teams want to stay flexible to sign Giannis Antentakumpo in the 2021 free agency, assuming he is unhappy in Milwaukee.
