James Wiseman, the Warriors’ #2 pick just two years ago, has yet to play a game for the Warriors this season due to injury. The same goes for multi-time all-star and title winner with the Warriors, Klay Thompson. However recent updates from The Athletic’s Anthony Slater have made it clear: the return is soon.

In a Saturday night tweet, he said:
For the Warriors, this is a huge step. Wiseman and Thompson will have immediate impacts on the Warriors, even as the Warriors lead the Western Conference with an 11-1 record.
These returns are enormous for the Warriors. While their MVP-candidate point guard Stephan Curry has gotten off to a blazing start, he has struggled to find teammates to help out in his winning efforts. However numerous incredible performances have kept the Warriors atop their conference.

While Thompson has not played since the 2019 finals, his game requires little athleticism to be helpful to the team. His 3&D style of basketball will still help the Warriors immensely, even if he is just now coming back from injury.
When it comes to Wiseman, the Warriors have been understaffed at the center position, where Wiseman will make a huge impact. Minuets given to Wiseman will make the Warriors true contender and a powerhouse in the league for every team to fear.
