Buckets Zone’s Team Rankings (BZTR) is a team ranking system, similar to power rankings, based on statistics that help decide how a team is doing compared to the rest of the teams in the NBA.
The 2 stats we use are a team’s record, (in this case the actual win percentage) and a team’s point differential (DIFF).
Here is the equation: (Win %-.500) (10) + Point Differential = a teams BZTR
We will be updating each team’s BZTR frequently, and also changing their order on this page to correspond with their ranking.
