The NBA draft is tonight. Many teams have selections in mind and are ready to use them. Who will they draft? Who SHOULD they draft? I can tell you now that teams have some of these prospects at the top of their boards, so let’s check them out.
This will be just each team’s first picks of the top 10. If a team is not in the top 10 they will not be on this list.
Minnieasota Timberwolves

With the first pick, it is clear that the Wolves should target Anthony Edwards. Edwards is the best fit in this draft next to their future point guard D’Angelo Russell, as Edwards can cover for D-Lo’s defensive mishaps as well as play off the ball next to him.
Golden State Warriors

At pick 2, the Warriors must target James Wiseman. If you were to build your own center, you would get Wiseman. He has the size of all the top centers, with an incredible set of skills, not all NBA bigs can even possess. He shoots somewhat well, and blocks shots like few others can.
Charlotte Hornets

With the third overall pick, the Hornets should target Lamelo Ball. Ball has the entire skillset to become an NBA ready point guard. He has a high pass IQ, he sees the floor, and is long and lanky, which supports his finishing skills.
Chicago Bulls

The Bulls should attempt to target Deni Avdija with their 4th pick in the draft. Out of Israel, Deni has all the skills you can think of. However, the issue with his game is that none of these are better than others in this class. This is what scouts say could tank his draft stock, but the Bulls are in need of wings, and Deni is just that.
Cleveland Cavaliers

While sitting at pick 5, the Cavs should target Obi Toppin. With the decline of Kevin Love, Toppin is in the situation to become the future PF the Cavs need. He has one of the best all-around offensive games in this class, and if it was not for his age would be the guaranteed top 3 overall picks.
Atlanta Hawks

While they are currently at pick 6, the Hawks should try and trade up to select Anthony Edwards. He fits well next to Trae Young, who is a poor defender like D-Lo. The fit is ideal and would help the team become much better than they would be without him.
Detroit Pistons

The Pistons are at pick 7, and they should target Killian Hayes. Hayes is the best all-around point guard and even the most NBA ready as well. Hayes Possesses the skills to be a top 2-way guard in the NBA and will be even more deadly with a developed 3 point shot.
New York Knicks

At Pick 8, the Knicks should target Kilian Hayes, the French point guard. The Knicks ought to get Hayes at all costs. Getting a battle-tested player like him would do wonders for their franchise, and put them over the hum, making them a top young core in the league.
Washington Wizards

At pick 9, the Wizards need to target Patrick Williams, The Wizards were the worst defensive team in the league last season. Williams brings that needed defense to the table. He is a long and athletic wing who can defend 1-4. It’s a dream scenario for him to join Washington.
Phoenix Suns

After trading for Chris Paul, the Suns should target Devin Vassell. Vassell is a wing who, like Patrick Williams can defend very well. While Vassell is not the defender Williams is, Vassell is an amazing shooting stroke and is one of the best prospects in the class.
